In the year 2044, “Demifloras” — humans that have developed inhuman abilities, are targeted and harvested for their pricey body parts. Iris Black, a Demiflora that possesses the ability to bring his drawings to life, is sheltered in a correctional facility that houses Demifloras. Outcasted for his inability to suppress his powers, he yearns to find a place that accepts him for who he is. His chance comes one night when a daring outsider sneaks into the lab.

physically manifesting illustrations

as an iris demiflora, iris has the ability to turn illustrations to life. this power is not limited to only the illustrations he creates, but anything that might have been drawn by someone else as well. these manifestations can range from everyday objects like roses and water, to unique objects like any of iris' inventions, to anything physical like cuts on a human body.

when iris uses this power, blue-green smoke wafts from his hands and the object as it comes to life.

to "dissolve" the manifestation, iris must have contact with it.

limitations
• iris must possess an understanding of the object in the illustration (the more conceptual an object, the more detail he needs)
• the illustration needs to be whole and completed
• as of yet no canon example of manifesting living beings
• needs to be in proximity to some part of iris to exist

artist & inventor

iris has shown himself to be a talented artist and skilled inventor, capable of conceptualizing and drafting up items like: an animatronic arm, shoes that can fly/boost speed, invisibility cloak, a pouch that diminishes the mass of any object placed inside it.

during a moment of severe distress in canon, iris was shown to be able to harm others — specifically in the form of (seemingly) transmuting someone's eye into an iris that burned them.
